Maria's Submarine Sandwich Shop

Best subs ever! We come to Scituate every year and this is the highlight of the trip! We come here many times over vacation!

Maria's is lovely, it's never changed and it's as fresh as it's been since it has opened. They have the most delicious subs of any other place that I know. People will drive hundreds of thousands of miles just to have a bite of the sub that they had when they were a child.

A hometown favorite. They dont have lettuce, they dont take credit/debit cards and I wouldn't have it any other way. Small town living at it's best.

Classic New England submarine sandwich shop still run by locals and staffed with young people. Their fast service, simple menu and and comfort food make this a local, iconic destination.

Decent Italian meatball sub. One gripe however: I wish they had a way to combine turkey and ham but apparently everything is pre-portioned. Why not just teach the workers to portion correctly? Then you could combine meats, and charge for the more expensive one... Pretty simple, and almost every build-your-own restaurant does this already.
