The Patio at McGuiggan's

I went for the 1st time today with my Mom, sister and 3 year old son. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by Danielle who was very friendly and sweet. Deirdre (sp?) was our server and she was wonderful. She took my dairy allergy very seriously and made sure to make the kitchen aware. She found out my meal came with a sauce that had dairy and so she informed me right away. Then when she brought my meal, to my surprise amd delight she had given me sauce options that were dairy free. I felt very well taken care of and the Blackened Salmon tacos were AMAZING. I loved this atomsphere and we had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to our next visit! I also felt that the price was very reasonable considering the great quality of the food and drinks. What a gem!

The place is gorgeous inside, staff is great, and the food and drinks are excellent! I wish I lived closer because I would be here all the time! My only complaint is the Mezcal they have tastes like Copenhagen Long Cut. I would get rid of that... 5 stars though!

Very good. Great staff. A variety of great options on the menu. Great draft beer selection. Highly recommend a crock of clam chowder, the lobster roll and chicken and biscuits.

The environment is really nice. The staff, when waiting on you is very friendly. Unfortunately, I can confidently say, the staff stands around for a good 75% of the time chatting with one another. This leads me to my next point, the food. I never knew it was possible for a new classification of “below fast food” to exist to I ate at this restaurant. For example, the first time I sat down here, I ordered a steak. After the agonizing hour it took for it to come out, it was cold, fatty, and hands down inedible. I moved on to the fries; This was the highlight of my trip! Perfectly salted while maintaining that crunch. The location of The Patio is a nightmare. It is if you were to pay thousands of dollars for a fancy hotel room and open the windows for the view and see a wall. You look outside and see the beautiful sky here. The downside is that it is in dead center of a town. The ruckus of cars make the meal unenjoyable.

Great new place in Whitman to check out. Menu is fun and creative. Such an awesome place to hang out and catch up with friends!
