1928 Beacon Hill

Living just a couple blocks away, I was very excited to try this place. Overall it was good.. Cool environment, good service, food was good nothing special. Minus one star for being overpriced for what you get. Cocktails were great but I don't think I'd go back just to get a $25 signature cocktail.

After reading some reviews on Yelp, I was a bit concerned about the service, food quality and prices. Suffice to say, I was very happy with all of these. The tuna tartare was a big hit, as we the deviled eggs. I thoroughly enjoyed my Waldorf salad and the half serving of the Bolognese was just the right amount. Others had the burger and said it was excellent. The desserts were very good as well. Six people, cocktails, wine, desserts and trip for under $100 per head seemed more than reasonable for Boston. We will be back.

What can I say about this hidden gem! Everything was top notch from the most amazing cacio de Pepe and beet salad for an appetizer to the rich and delicious short rib with mashed potatoes for my meal. Our party also had the burger, steak frites & cod with ravioli and everyone raved about it. I couldn’t recommend this place more! Must check it out…you won’t be disappointed. Hidden gem!

Lovely atmosphere with a great vibe. Bartenders were AMAZING, and the seating at the bar was so comfortable I could have stayed well into the night. The food was uniquely flavored and tasty, and I was happy that the portion sizes for the appetizer and salad I ordered were not overwhelming. Overall, an A+ experience. Happy to have found a fantastic local restaurant to experience on my vacation to Boston.

The restaurant is both hip and elegant, the food was delicious and the service was amazing ! Can’t wait to get back to this place and make it a regular of mine!
