What an amazing outdoor setting, fabulous food and our waiter, Kenny, was incredible. His local knowledge and customer service made the afternoon perfect. Please tell Kenny thank you for everything as we caught up with our South End cousins while visiting from Kansas City, Missouri!!!

Not bad. Could and should be better. Great location, interior and patio setup. Food and menu - just okay. There is weirdly a weekday “happy hour $1 oysters” before 5pm, so anyone with a job can’t really make it. I’ve been a few times and the last time was a bad experience. I was there with a friend on a low-key Monday Summer night, surrounded by people on dates and catching up. Then they shut off the music and put a non-Bruins hockey game blaring on over all of the house speakers - including the bathroom. People asked to turn it off but because an investor wanted it on they left it on. That’s not what you expect from a quaint south end restaurant. Ruined the entire mood / night. Could barley hear and left shortly after.

This restaurant is such a gem. I booked a table for brunch for my birthday, and let me tell you — one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Boston so far. The host staff was attentive and extremely flexible with my large and late party reservation, the food and brunch cocktails were stellar ($1 oysters is definitely a crowd pleaser as well), but honestly our server stole the show. Such a lovely personality, super accommodating, and so patient with us. The space is beautiful, the lemon poppy waffle is a MUST, I could just go on and on. My partner and I will absolutely be back for a dinner date. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you Black Lamb for a great time.

Outdoor seating is nice. The food is average. I highly recommend that they add more variety. For example they just have regular fries . They should add sweet potato fries or truffle fries or whatever fries other than basic. Same applies for some of the other food options. I noticed lot of fried food on the menu . Hmm. Also the desert menu is one of the worst in Boston. Two options mint chocolate and whatever the other was we couldn't eat it . Went back the same way it came. Was nice of them not to charge us for it but then we had to go elsewhere for desert. Not sure id be back here with a menu like that

Delicious food and drinks. We went when there was a brunch menu, which was kind of limited. The real draw was the $1 oysters since on a Saturday there’s few places that offer this. We had apps and drinks on the patio. It was a good time and we enjoyed the bar while we waited inside.

The day we were there there was about a 45 minute though we had a reservation (we also showed up 15 min early). Overall good experience though.
