Food was amazing walked in almost half and hour after they were closed. Still got great service shared a few laughs and still enjoyed my food. Would recommend to anyone and I’ll be back.
This right here ?! Today I had the pleasure of walking into the establishment better known as Blue Mountain Jamaican restaurant as a curious consumer and now I sit here as a faithful customer. First off, being a part of the Boston community for 27 years I have never been to a Jamaican restaurant that had such great customer service !!!! I was able to quickly order my oxtails, curry chicken, beef patties, and more. Each part of my order was met with an “of course” and a pleasant smile which automatically made me know I would be back in the near future ( tomorrow). However, what really hooked me was the actual flavor and decadence of the food. The alluring smell does not do this establishment the justice it deserves. All the food, piping hot but not scalding enough to have to toss in your mouth. Oxtails fresh off the bone as if you woke up to your West Indian mother’s Sunday best. Rice and peas that carry love in each grain. And provisions touched by the hands of God himself. From the patty to the Mac and cheese I do not ever think that my stomach has had such pleasantries when it comes to Jamaican food in this city and now both my stomach and my mind have no shadow of a doubt when we search for a quench of hunger. Blue mountain, thank you for the amazing and hospitable services, if you ever get a chance please stop by to have a life changing experience. “Out of many, one people” is the motto of Jamaica and “out of many only blue mountain” is my new adaptation.
This is more like 3.5, could be a 4 over time. I really like this place, the staff are pleasant, and the place is clean. However, I ordered the curry shrimp and it was too thick in the sauce, didn’t look appealing, and it was baby shrimp with veins. I asked is the shrimp was deveined and they said yes. The food was ill prepared today, sorry guys ♥️ I really want this place to succeed, and hope it was just a bad day. The breakfast is great!
Great authentic food from a great family business. Plus the service comes with lots of smiles. Definitely my goto Jamaican food spot in Boston.
Great food & great service. More options to choose from than most spots. I will definitely be visiting again!
