Faccia Brutta

I had high expectations and it was fine. Food was good, just not blow my mind great. The waiter gave us a speech about the menu before we even got to look at it. It was a nice gesture but there was no need to walk us through section by section of the menu as if the menu was incredibly complicated to understand (it wasn’t). It almost felt like if we didn’t choose his “favorites” then we would be offending him after that speech.

The tables on the patio were also jam packed into each other which gave no privacy and space. I had to be careful not to bump or get bump by the many waiters and waitresses carrying plates and drinks.

Overall not a very comfortable ambiance. Food was good, but very expensive — typical Newbury street high-end restaurant stuff. I think the other restaurants from the restaurant group are far more worth the money and vibe than Faccia Brutta.

The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. I'm not giving them five stars because all the pasta dishes and the razor clams were slightly overcooked. However, the ambiance and service were great. I’ll consider coming back to try the pasta dishes one more time.

The food was amazing. High quality plates with a very modern and lively atmosphere. And the staff was very nice!

New favorite restaurant in town. Faccia Brutta’s diverse menu offers refreshing takes on traditional Mediterranean cuisine: no gimmicks, just wonderful execution that celebrated top-quality ingredients. Exceptionally well done.
