We had the dinner for two- One of the best meals I've ever had. Totally worth it, staff was lovely and very enjoyable. Felt like we were at a friend's house. Excellent.
Came here for dinner during my weekend trip to Boston and I can say the food was great and was generously sized. We ordered garlic roasted broccoli, calamari, chicken & shrimp ziti with pesto cream, and scallop on linguine with lobster red sauce. The appetizers were great but I would say for my scallop on linguine, the red sauce didn’t have much of a lobster flavor to it; it was a decent pasta dish. On the other hand, the chicken & shrimp with pesto cream was incredible. The establishment was packed on a Saturday night (as expected) and is cash-only. They do have an ATM if you forget. Overall I would recommend this spot!
This is one of the best restaurants in the Boston North side area. The staff is very friendly. The service is quick and excellent. They have a wide variety of Italian dishes. Their dishes are delicious, and their portions are very generous. The place has outside sitting for those who like dining outdoors. The prices are very reasonable. For travelers, this is a cash only business. If you want to enjoy some Italian dishes in the North side of Boston, Giacomo's is the place.
I am from out of the area currently visiting a relative. My first dining experience was a success all because of the attentive staff at Giacomo's in the Boston North End. Even though there was a little wait we did not mind because the staff was moving fast, but also made sure to provide wonderful hospitality before, during, and after our meal. Not only was the food wonderful, but also the seating. If you're looking to eat here I highly recommend sitting upstair when they have the windows open!
