HARP + BARD Restaurant & bar

Surprisingly unpretentious. I saw a fancy looking place in Dorchester and assumed they would have over-priced drinks and overworked staff. Wrong! Down to earth locals serving down to earth locals. Stopped by around 2pm on Saturday and was not turned off at all.

This place was good, not great. Went there with a friend; she got the sausage and eggs with home fries, I got the bangers and eggs with tater tots. The waiter messed up my order (eggs came fried, instead of scrambled), but besides that the food was as expected. The vibe was good and it wasn't crowded (Sunday morning around 11am-ish). Would recommend (but maybe order something better).

Loved this place! Was looking for a place to stop for lunch and a drink before heading to airport and was glad to have found this place! Matt, our bartender/server was AWESOME! His service, personality and bartending skills were nothing short of perfect! Thanks Matt! Appreciate the service and food!!!

Nice clean bar serving a good selection of beer and food. Tried a cider and a couple of their wraps. Good hearty food and the cider was surprisingly good. Have been before and would also recommend the wings.
It's a sports bar so plenty of screens showing games but not so much as to be a distraction if you just want to eat.
Staff were very nice and helpful.

Friendly service, good selection of American comfort foods. I had the onion strings and the fish and chips. The onion strings were amazing! Fish and chips could have used more lemon on the side. The portions here are also American. The large fish and chips lasted me two meals. Just a nice local place for cold drinks and classic foods.
