My only regret is that I may not live long enough to try everything on the menu.

This place is amazing. My routine usually involves a sandwich pickup shortly before football starts on Saturday or Sunday. Specials are great, atmosphere is lively, service is fast though the line is sometimes long. Highly recommended.

A Diamond in the Rough Restaurant that's perfect READ ON
So I'm in Brighton Center on business, where I lived in the 80s and 90s and I stumble upon this awesome Gem of a restaurant. I figured a Pastrami Sandwich New York style was in order, but then I saw the Beef Brisket and had it instead. Anyway, this place is so awesomely retro. New York Cafeteria style from the 80s with full dinners, deli and even healthy salads. The guys behind the counter and the owner at the register were all incredibly nice as I got this amazing dinner lunch at Noon. Brisket which was so tender and flavorful you could cut it with a fork. Then I had Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese, Regular Mac and Cheese and excellent mixed vegetables. The meal was perfect. How I've not known about this place floors me. But you need to experience this place. By the way WROR FM playing classic hits was awesome too. I hope this place stays here for a long time.....

Sometimes you just want to sit down and eat a home cooked style meal with a knife and fork instead of pizza or subs. Jim's is just the type of place for that. My job can be a bit hectic and it is nice to have a place to eat that slows you down... Did I mention the meals are great as well! Turkey, roast beef, brisket, meatloaf with all the fixings and more! Had em all and loved em all!

Coming from Texas and being on vacation for the last week in DC and Boston, this was by far one of the best and THE most affordable places we have eaten at! Super friendly and welcoming staff! Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast spot (so many options it was hard to choose). Highly recommended!!

This place is truly amazing. The food is very delicious and the prices are very affordable. They also deliver on almost every delivery platform which is also great. I like to go there in person because the staff is always welcoming and very friendly. It really seems like they truly love what they do and they really make you feel like you’re at home. I’m sure the owner Jim has made many happy people come back over and over. I can’t imagine anybody writing any bad reviews about this place unless they were having a VERY bad day. Keep doing what you’re doing guys, highly recommended! Stay Awesome!
