Really great lobster roll! Was so happy with my experience here. The bread was good, lobster was tasty! I got a side salad and drinks by adding a few bucks.

This place has fantastic lobster, shrimp and crab rolls. For under $25 after tax, you get half of 3 rolls that aren’t large but delicious! The rolls were toasted just right to have a slight crisp crunchiness yet soft in the middle, the seafood were fresh and prepared with flavor yet not overwhelming. Sauce did not smother and kept the rolls from being dry. The trio ($24.50~ includes side of chips and drink of choice) set is such a great idea for someone who would probably otherwise hesitate to go with crab or shrimp on their own instead of the famous Boston lobster roll. This way, nothing is left undone yet you’re not stuffed to the nose. I’d be back for sure.

They don’t take Apple Pay/contactless just FYI.

The place is tucked between two other stores but the inside was clean and decor was minimalistic industrial. They have illustrated simple menu that helps you know what you are getting.

I ordered the Trio combo meal (usually half a hotdog bun of lobster, shrimp and crab each with a side and drink but they were out of shrimp so I substituted crab) with a coleslaw and seltzer water. the seafood was fresh and the bread was crispy with a little mayo spread on it. (Although I sort of wished I had a slice of lemon to add a couple drops of tartness to the seafood) The cole slaw was refreshing and made with a vinaigrette based dressing and provided a crisp contrast to the half rolls. Good size for a light lunch. Price was around 28 with tip. Although a 2nd side of soup or maybe a bag of chips would have been perfect.

We went for a late lunch early dinner around 4pm on Labor Day. There were already several patrons inside but wait was short and they brought the food to us in wax paper lined red baskets.

We did the trio - shrimp (back), lobster (middle), and crab (front). They were a bit smaller than expected but perfect to share and get a couple bites to try them all. The crab was not as flavorful as the other two in my opinion but they were all good. The poppyseed slaw was a BIG container and very tasty too.

I tried lobster rolls at many different places in Boston including Legal Seafood and i always come back to this place. This is hands down the best lobster roll in Boston. If you want to try a little bit of everything get the trio which has a mini crab roll, lobster roll, and shrimp roll. This is my 3rd time here and i always get the lobster roll combo with clam chowder soup. This is a must go to place in Boston. Highly recommended.
