Location and ambiance are good. Of course you are not feeling like you are in France for sure, but at least it is not felt like a regular American restaurant. Service was great. When it comes to food, they claim they have the best Onion Soup in Boston. So, you are keeping your expectations high. I really liked the soup but it could have been a bit more garnished and with a little bit more consistency. As a main dish I had pan steered scallops garnished with garlic. Presentation was amazing. However, I could not taste the garlic and it was really unsalted, so could have been better. The most disappointing thing was the Almond Creme Brulee. I love this dessert so much, but they added too much almond extract. Only thing that I tasted was the bitter almond syrup so I could not finish it. Waitress asked me why I did not finish my dessert and I told them the reason. They did not charge for the dessert which showed their good attitude towards the customers. I don’t know whether I will go there again, but overall 7/10.
Service was great (thank you!). Food was fine... It lacked flavor and presentation, brussels were over cooked beyond edible. Overall, food was not worth the price unfortunately. Restaurant was lovely, quaint and cozy. Music was an odd choice (modern folk)... Would've loved to be listening to french music to really make the atmosphere perfect.
First time in my life when I couldn’t finish my food in a French restaurant. The portion was larger than what you get from a Mexican restaurant in Texas.
Family style restaurant. Food is more than delicious and authentic. Service is great also. Wine options are limited but price is reasonable.
Fun lively and packed place. Great service, and a solid bistro plus menu. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back. Many things on the menu I need to try.
A number of reviews mentioned the French onion soup, we thought it was solid, but clearly not the "best we have ever had". Be more adventurous and try some of their other options. I liked the sweetbreads.
My main course meal which I will show a picture of, was one of the best stuffed baked chicken I ever had. The pasta was so good as well! Soup was also delicious! Would definitely recommend
