Nagomi Izakaya

THE BEST Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. The fish was like tasting the sea! The chicken wings and ribs were layered with flavor. The service made us feeling like we were the most important people there. And the atmosphere was great! Details that make a difference. From the water glasses,(I wanted to take mine home in my pocketbook), to the beautiful bamboo light and wall fixtures…classy and chic. The last and most impressive detail?…The prices. I will be going back again and again. Amazing experience!

The best izakaya in Boston area! The sashimi was fresh and the tempura was just right. I strongly recommend this izakaya (though I wish I am the only person to know this place)

I ordered their Nagomi Don for delivery on Saturday, November 6, 2021. It was superb. While it wasn't the cheapest option there (the most expensive actually), it's clear you get a good amount of delicious items for what you pay for. I've really been impressed with the quality and will order from them again.

One thing I wanted to note was their Ikura which, unlike the normal style (which I love a bit more but aren't to many people's taste :D), they marinated theirs, so it's pickled. Very good all the same!

I had a fabulous evening at Nagomi Izakaya. The omakase is incredibly reasonable and very good. Looks like this is a hidden gem for the moment - visit before the rest of Boston cottons on!

This place is a true gem. Great portion, fresh sushi, and sashimi at the right price. We enjoyed its chic ambience and their service was efficient and attentive. Overall, this is our new favorite sushi place in Boston! We will visit again soon!
