First off, visiting from Toronto, love the craft brewery scene here in Boston. We felt that Night Shift was a true embodiment of the craft brew. The brewery is conveniently located on your way back from the end of the Freedom Trail (which is when we ended up here) and very close to CitizenM hotel (which is where we stayed while in Boston). So I would certainly give it some point for location (also located beside TD Centre). Anyways, we came with the intention to try a couple of different beers and see what the brewery had to offer. Somewhat sad to find out that the did not offer flights of beer but you could purchase 4 oz tasters for $4/taster. Surprised that flights weren't offered, I inquired and our server told us flights were once offered but lead to congestion at the bar and really slowed down the whole drink order process. Anyways, the $4 taster wasn't bad. The brewery offers an excellent variety of beers for all beer lovers, with each beer having it's own unique flavors. Personally, unless you are coming here on a regular basis, go for the taster option and get a feel for what they have to offer. To pair nicely with you tasters, consider getting the fries and the bottomless popcorn (just like us!). Side note, when telling our server we were visiting Boston, they were kind enough to write out a recommended list (talk about added service). All and all, check this place out, you won't be disappointed. Fun fact, they also roast and brew coffee here!

Awesome beers in an incredible space. Much of the beer list you could only get at the brewery which is really neat and something I wish more breweries would do. We were here in January so we sat inside, but I bet the patio overlooking the Charles Bridge is outstanding in the summer. Will definitely try to come back the next time I'm in Boston.

Brewery is a place you go with friends. With that said, i’ve been there twice and both times had a wonderful time. The beer selection was outstanding though QUITE overpriced. As for the food, it pairs quite nicely with the beer and is priced fairly (seriously the beer prices are “ambitious”). The staff is very attentive and polite and the joint is very cool.

Tip: be sure to walk here and build up your appetite so that you may enjoy this experience even more. Also check out their store for some great experimental beers and a very good price you can take back home. Also you should come here on a Sunday night when there are hardly any customers and it’s a great way to end the week!

Lastly I recommend walking back and taking in the views!

Beer selection was great. Most were winners, some were a little too sour for my liking but that's just me (they would still be good sour beers!). Ended up coming back for a second go while in town for the weekend. Relaxed venue and seating for TV/sports or tables/chat.
