    Porter has a great beer selection and the bartenders are always friendly and competent. The food is very good - they do a great burger. It's small and intimate, but that just gives you a chance to meet someone.

    I am reluctant to write a review so this place won't be so crowded every time I get here. But that won't be fair.

    Love the food, the drinks and the down-to-earthiness which reminds me of why I love this town.

    Can I have a permanent reservation at the end of the bar?

    The food is great! I mainly order carryout, but enjoy the Sunday brunch menu. Service is professional, but not the most friendly. Typical of Boston I suppose.
