R&S Jamaican Restaurant

Have been twice and tried a few different things. To start off, the jerk wings and jerk pork were outstanding. Just the right amount of spice to them all while still tasting like it came right off a grill. Call ahead for the jerk wings as they seem to sell out fast. & the fried chicken is arguably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Seasoned to absolute perfection. Received a free fresh mango juice for the wait last time I visited as well which was very good. Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu !

The jerk spice is the perfect amount of heat. The meat is so fall-off-the-bone that it reminded us of great BBQ joints in Memphis. I don't get how they get their beans to such a perfect texture in their rice & beans; my beans at home never turn out like that. We also love the peanut punch - a peanut dream smoothie. We like the beef patties for a quick, light lunch (and cheap!). The Ginger Pineapple juice is so fresh; the ginger has some bite to it. We've ventured into authentic, new-to-us foods like the sweet potato pudding and Irish Moss. This is the kind of place where you want to try different things each time because it's as close as we can get to travelling right now. The people here are very warm and welcoming. The restaurant is really clean, and we were comfortable with their COVID adaptions. R&S is a gem.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, it’s very rare you find a restaurant that does everything well!!! I am slowly making my way through the whole menu. The curry and stew chicken are amazing. Full of flavor, great portions. The people are welcoming and kind. I highly recommend. Also ask for the seafood melody soup!!! Thank you guys so much and may god continue to bless you!!

This place gives real authentic Jamaican food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner menus for certain times of the day. So if you want different meals try to go there after 11:30am. Sher Sher is a very nice lady she was very welcoming, respectful and she even threw in some extra fish cakes for me. For the Christmas season they also have rum cakes and other treats. Eating from this place really brought me back home to the smells of my mother’s kitchen. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a real Jamaican dish ??

I have driven by this restaurant many times and always wanted to stop and try it. I finally decided to drop by and see what it’s about yesterday. Absolutely NO regrets. I even went back today. The staff are nice, and the food is great. They make it worth every dollar. Definitely a new and forever favorite.
