Shake Shack

They are coming to our City soon so I thought I would try it to see what the raves are all about. It's an upscale fast-food place where hamburgers start at $10. I had a double burger with cheese and it was greasy. The bun is squared so the patties kept moving. They have a mushroom burger (a portobello mushroom coated and deep fried) which is popular to the vegetarians. This restaurant is unique because you can have bacon with your hamburger and fries. These are extra costs. Food ordering is similar to any fast food place - place your order, look for a seat if your are lucky (it's hard to find seats during a busy hour because seating is limited) and wait for your beep to tell you that your food is ready for pick up. Is the wait worth it? I don't think so. For this price, I rather go to a regular restaurant and be served.

Delicious burgers but small in size. The shake is very filling and really good. The combo is perfect.

Nice and juicy burger. The main challenge is to find a spot to sit down, specially during the lunch time. Would recommend to have some time at hand before going there. Otherwise, it's a good place with quite do-able meal prices.

First eating here. Service was quick. The Servers were helpful and polite. Food was fresh and super delicious! Enjoyed the burger, stolen (shared) fries, and strawberry shake. Definitely would try again anytime I am in the area. FYI There is more seating on other floor.

This is one of my favorite shacks. It’s in a really nice space on Newbury, and plenty of seating both upstairs and down. They are usually pretty quick with the orders, haven’t had an issue the few times I’ve been in yet. Like this better than the one in seaport even though it’s not open as late!
