Stockyard

Our steak came with somewhat unusual & very good side dishes: roasted cauliflower & ricotta with (lots of) 'shrooms. My sangria proved to be quite a large cocktail with somewhat generous fruit garnishes. Bread was toasted & delicious.
Prices are moderate to fairly pricey: our $26 sirloin was one of the less expensive entrees.
Inside atmosphere's run of the mill, patio may be nicer. Our dinner was 5pm, but this place was already so busy that some of our requests (change the TV station, ice for our water glasses) were forgotten or much delayed.

Just amazing. One of the best NY strip steaks I have ever had and as someone who came from Chicago, where the stockyards are nearby and the meat is very fresh, that is saying something.

The service was excellent, they were quick and efficient and everytime I was almost out of something they were there to get me another one.

The restaurant is a flashback as it looks like it probably did back in the 80s, but it is extremely neat and clean.

The bar does get a little loud and crowded just after work in the area lets out, but if you are seated away from it you do not even notice it.

Definitely will be visiting again.

Food was fine. The mashed potatoes tasted like the boxed kind. The bread pudding dessert was my favorite part of the meal! Yummy! The vibe is older conservative type crowd.

You will never believe it until you eat there. I'm so serious. Best steaks ever. Nice, kind, friendly service, too. The Stockyard out do all the rest. I should keep this to myself, but I can't. ENJOY!

Our waitperson was average. After our order was taken it was then a short wait before received our food. I had the steak tip dinner with rice instead of the mashed potatoes and cauliflower. The steak tips were superb, And my side orders was very good.
