This competes to be one of my favorite Thai places in the area. I've gotten Pad Thai and Khao Pad Supparod (Fried Rice) takeout from here. There is a perfect amount of chicken in each dish, and it is moist and tender. Both dishes are well-seasoned without being overly salty or greasy.
If I had to make one change with the Pad Thai, it would be that the scallions in the Pad Thai be cut instead of half a foot long. They appear to be solely for presentation rather than for taste. I do not get the friendly greetings here that I get from my favorite place, but the service is efficient and there are no issues.
I look forward to trying more dishes.
Came on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm and a few tables were occupied. A few parties came in during the night but it never got too crowded.
The two of us ordered drinks and the Larb Gai and Ba-Mee Poo to share. I had never tried either dish before, so I was really excited and was not disappointed! The Larb Gai was very fragrant and came with sticky rice. The Ba-Mee Poo was surprisingly sweet, but the sweetness was offset by the meat and chili flakes.
Overall a really enjoyable meal with friendly service. The menu isn't huge, but you can tell each dish is prepared in a meaningful way. Would definitely come back to try more!
Food
Small portion, but great taste! I loved the curry that came with the roti. If I could order a bowl to go, I would.
Everything else
Very small restaurant, but the service is nice.
Good food and service Thai tea and chicken satay were on point although a bit pricy. The pork rice dish was ok, a little too dry and lean could’ve used a fattier cut. The pad Thai was good, but not as good as rod d Thai.
Amazing ambience and even better food. Truly delicious. Perfect for a date as well.
The staff is very polite, overall it's a very inviting place.
