The wings are a nice size but it's a little salty. The same with the shoestring fries and onion strings. The staff is friendly.

These wings totally rock and the price is right. The spicy wings are a must have. Not too hot and full of flavor.

Yellowbird is wedged between a few other businesses on Grove St. There is only street parking; but there are usually a few spots down the street so it's never too far of a walk. The shop itself is nothing impressive; people don't generally come here to rave about the ambience and decorations. It's very much a hole in the wall type of place that's owned and operated by the same person. There's a table with 3 stools if you choose you dine in. The menu had quite a selection, but of course, I came for the wings. I ordered the small wing plate (4 wings and regular fries) and a drink and the total was $8. The wings are fried when ordered so you know they are always hot and fresh. The owner also let me try a cornbread muffin for free, and I would highly recommend it. It was so sweet and delicious The owner was very friendly and sweet. This man works 7 days a week by himself! Good thing the food is good too because I will definitely come back and support a local business!
