ZC Boston

We love this place! Half price sushi on weekends before 9. Sure, you can find slightly fancier sushi elsewhere in Boston, but only if you're willing to pay three times as much. ZC is really a hidden gem in the South End/Roxbury area near Boston Medical Center.

Clean spacious quiet place. Nice large bar with flat screen TVs. I am not sure if the location is a pro or con, as it seems not enough people know about this place. Bonus is your parking is free at the garage across the street once they validate your ticket.

Friendly staff who will remember you with a bar that makes a wide variety of drinks. They also have a menu with various apps (and maybe meals, but to be honest I haven't checked out much aside from the apps and the drinks). ZC is good for winding down with friends on a Friday evening.

Great food.. Great prices... Great service... Lots of seating.. Free parking.

This place was just the closest sushi place to our hotel and the reviews were positive. It has a trendy atmosphere with a big bar and a lot of high top tables in the bar area. It was mostly an after world crowd when we sat down but it started to fill up with regular diners after a while (some others from our hotel). The staff was courteous and very friendly. The sushi was excellent. I don't have any basis of comparison in Boston, but it was close to my favorite from my area. We had steamed dumpling appetizers and Tom yum soup. My daughter absolutely housed the dumplings and the Tom yum soup was just the right amount of spice. Very good. Highly recommend if your staying nearby or work nearby.
