Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Restaurant and Bar

We are from out of town. Found this place while looking online for casual seafood place because we were all in our swimsuits and comfy clothes after spending day at the beach. Was very close to beach and had great reviews. All was true that we read about online. Service was excellent. Atmosphere inside felt like vacation even though the outside looked like a strip mall all you can eat buffet restaurant. Only glitch was they forgot to place one if our orders so it came out much later than the others AND there were no silverware offered as well as NO cracking utensils for eating our crab legs. They were all out. We had to share 1 cracker for6 people's meals until they could clean or locate more.

Food is Amazing!!! So delicious! Spice and flavor is on point! One suggestion is to change their outside. We were sitting in the parking lot questioning if it’s gonna end up being another Chinese buffet because the layout of the outside doesn’t match what inside has to offer. With that said, when we walked in the aroma put us right back on track with what to expect. I felt like I was on a vacation. Can’t wait to go again! Just thinking about that food makes my mouth water

Good spot for some seafood and many different spices to choose from. Ask for the special of the week! The servers are very friendly and polite, I would bring friends and family here again. Be sure to check out all the state license plates hanging up on the walls! Really cool decor like a ship like environment. If you can handle spice, go with the most spiciest option. It will only feel like a kick. Appetizers are very tastey and piping hot. I always go with the fried calamari and pepper and lemon wings!
