LARRY J's BBQ CAFE

Larry J’s new spot in Revere is amazing! We had been looking forward to the spot opening for a while. BBQ is delicious just wish the portions were a little larger for the price and sometimes some items are sold out. The bartenders were new when we went so they were still learning the menus and systems and we needed to be a little more patient with them. Good selection of beer wine and liquor. Larry J is usually there and love that he will talk to the customers and give recommendations for what to order! Loved the burnt ends and the pulled pork!! Smoked brisket is amazing!! All the sauces are awesome!!!

I knew this place would be great when I first happened by it in the summer and looked at the menu. I didn't have time that day, but I tried tonight and it exceeded all expectations. I feel like I visited friends or family. The proprietors and customers alike were personable and a lot of fun. The food home-cooked and spot on--filling and perfect in every way. I will use grub hub on occasion for future reliable southern/ soul fare, but enjoying that food in this cozy friendly setting satisfies on every. Thank you Larry, Sheila...and customers Rico, Tom and various others--funny good people. Looking forward to going again and meeting others--maybe you. Treat yourself and feel at home.
