“Pretty awesome place you gotta check it out if you’re in the Back Bay area. Very nice atmosphere, awesome staff, the coffee and croissant were great. I didn't try the food yet but it looked delicious. I'll definitely come back.”

“Honestly just not the greatest dining experience all around. The service was extremely slow, it took us ages to even get asked for our drink orders which then took an additional 25 minutes to even come out and all we ordered was 2 iced coffees. Staff wasn’t very friendly and seemed very all over the place. Cute area but there are definitely places around the corner with much better service”

“We ate outside on a perfect Saturday evening...wonderful, wonderful service...dinner was scrumptious. The rigatoni, apparently on their menu for 20+ years, was out of this world. And I can't say enough about our server, Isabella. She was fantastic.”

“I love it here! Not only it's close to home but the baristas are great. Barry is my favorite! He knows my order by heart! Sometimes they have messed up my order but they fix it right away. No pudh back what so ever. They are great!”

“Good coffee, average sweets. I tried a cake which had a strong egg smell. Also tried a piece of lemon poppyseed cake (although they named it something else) which was below average. I had better ones in supermarket bakery”

“This gem just opened up in my neighborhood. The service is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu (most, maybe all, Halal) has a variety of Turkish, American, and Italian dishes. They offer a full breakfast menu, appetizers, entrees, sides, and an enticing array of homemade desserts, including THREE different types of, “made fresh, this morning, by Mom”, baklava. Beverages include Turkish Tea and Turkish coffee. This place is such a delight. It has definitely earned a place in our dine in and take-out rotation.”

“I have been coming here for 4 years and it is by FAR my favorite bubble tea place in Boston. Their fruit teas are the best fruit teas of any place I’ve ever been. I bring all my friends here and there is always something that everyone likes. The staff is always so friendly. I highly recommend!”

“Ordered some coffees and breakfast sandwiches. All of them were delish! The gentleman working was super nice and had a great attitude. I would come back definitely :-). Specifically I got the egg cheese and hot peppers on a bagel. Bagels tasted really fresh. For coffee I had the Swiss almond and it tasted fresh too and yummy. Definitely check this local spot out?”

“I absolutely love this place!!! My review is wayyyggg overdue 😆 but Playa bowl always has me coming back for more. I’ve tried their smoothies, which I absolutely love. My favs are: Açaí Energy, Pink Pitaya, Green & Booster. For their bowls, I love: Pure Vida, Nutella and Power! Especially the Power, it’s a great breakfast item and whenever I’m in the area it’s my go to spot. Please stop by here if you haven’t! They are amazing and you won’t regret it ♥️😋 #loveplayabowls”

“Lucy’s is amazing. The food is a rarity for the area, but is worth a commute from across the city to try. The bread, while nothing like any other I’ve had, wasted tasty, chewy, and the perfect vehicle to eat the mix of vegetables and meats. We asked for the favorites of the staff, and they had a nice conversation with us to figure out just what would be best, and I have to say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in the area. And with enough to fill leftovers for later. Certainly fatty and meaty, but a nice splurge spot and even a decent low-key date spot to show off your knowledge of Boston’s little gems.”

“The best croissants in Boston. Can't go wrong with any flavor but highly recommend the ham and cheese and chocolate. My personal favorites there are their blueberry danishes and the la colombe coffee eclairs. And if you're early, you might be able to score a baguette. Great to get to-go to sit in the park or bring pastries home - a little pricey but worth every penny!”

“It has a blend of a coffee shop and a safe house. The flavors of each product is special, and there is no relation of the fragrance to other coffee shops I've ever tasted. And it feels like my late mom made me a nice taste of espresso and the shop has a wonderful atmosphere. What a delightful spot.”
