Chuck's Steak House / Margaritagrill

Great steakhouse and bar. It's been there a long time and it hasn't changed too much. Definitely get the salad bar!

Pro: We have visited Chuck's many times. We have consistently good service and the food is excellent. Both my wife and I are vegetarian now, and you might think that's a contradiction but actually Chuck's has an excellent salad bar, soups that are vegetarian, and also some decent vegetarian selections on the menu both from the Margaritagrill and Chuck's menu selections.
NOTE:They also carry the Impossible Burger if you're looking for it, and the experience has been good every time I have it. I suggest telling them to make the Impossible Burger "pink" only because it is not hard to overcook the Impossible Burger and it's not meat so there are no concerns like an undercooked beef patty might present.

Con: The ambiance is not always great, there is a seating section that seems to be prone to being overly cold (in winter or summer) and due to low ceilings in that seating area, if a noisy group is seated near you it is hard to hear yourself or your dining partner. It's never been quite worth complaining to the waitstaff but it can be trying. I think this area is the first seating used early in the evening, the "library" area has higher ceilings and is on a raised platform, I prefer that area but lately we have been going early and not getting seated there.

I think it's quite hard in a family style restaurant like Chuck's to really expect a more refined atmosphere so I don't really hold that against them too much. Food and service: 5 stars, atmosphere: 3 stars, averages out to 4 stars.

We were married yesterday and had made reservations at Chucks for the reception. There were only 10 of us. When we arrived the cake was melting and some flowers slid off...typical wedding disaster.....lol...but the girl at the desk put it in the freezer to chill. We all enjoyed our meals. . .from prime rib to chicken parmigiana and a couple of vegetarians. When the waitress brought us the cake their pastry chef had fixed it for us. So very appreciated and totally surprised us. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and on the ball with drinks and keeping everyone happy. When we have another function we would definitely like to return to Chucks for more great food and excellent service.

Had the best server here- her name was Lexi. She was wonderful! Went with a large group from work. Lexi actually did all of the things a server would do, she brought us food and kept our drinks full, but she actually also figured out our personalities and fit right in with our crowd. It was fantastic!
In addition to Lexi, the food was really good, the atmosphere was great, all around an excellent time.
