Bread & Butter Diner

Flavorful breakfast at Bread & Butter Diner he had the Chorizo Benedict, I had the Veggie Omlette add sausage, with a pancake on the side. Everything was seasoned just right, and the waitresses/service was great!

We have a new heavy hitter here in the breakfast and lunch scene in greater Worcester! Located right in Boylston on 140, couple minutes from Great Brook Valley, is Bread and Butter Diner. I like to go somewhere multiple times to get a good feeling of quality and consistency. This place delivers everytime! The owners are great, the staff is accommodating and makes you feel like family. The food? Some of THE BEST breakfast and lunch food I have had in recent times. Pictured here are Elenas Potatoes and Eggs, the house Monte Cristo, the Bifana sandwich, the Chopped Cheese sandwich, and lastly the Portuguese Benedict. The presentation makes me think I'm in a high end restaurant on many of the items, and the flavor? WOW. Chris relies on his Portuguese heritage to dream up some fantastic combinations that just come together into these amazing dishes. The au jus Portuguese gravy that is served with his spin on the classic Portuguese bifana sandwich is absolutely next level, my fiancée talks about it all the time now!

When I tell you that this is the BEST PLACE EVER!! I first had their eggs Benedict and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best I’ve ever had. Then, Their breakfast burrito with chorizo made me a believer. We’ve been coming for a few weeks religiously now. And today we stopped in for lunch and had their burger and a special. WHAT A SPECIAL. They had a chopped cheese burger. The chef needs an award, I’m not even kidding. It’s like a modern spin on homey diner classics. Just stop reading right now. Take out some cash, and just go. It’s absolutely DELICIOUS food. You won’t regret it!

I was there with 3 others. My poached eggs were over done. Toast was cold. The others had no complaints. They don’t take credit cards, cash only. Nice small place to have breakfast. Will try again.

This place has only been open for three weeks. I ordered the Classic Benedict with a side of seasonal fruit. The fruit was really delicious and complimented the sauce on the eggs. The texture of the eggs was prefect. I also got some fresh lemonade to bring it all together ❤️

Really enjoyed it here and liked the cozy and cute counter.
