The Clam Box

First time we visited the food was great! The second time, the food was not so good... seems like they most likely didn't change the grease, portions we're smaller, the fries were soggy and the salad was drenched in dressing. Some of their young staff could use some training on how to take an order and how to be more pleasant with their customers.

Good food, reasonable prices, and large portions. We had the Haddock fish and chips, very good. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because it's cash only and we ordered a beer that was flat.

Wow! New management has really turned this place around! Food was delicious, greatly improved. Plus was my children actually finished their food. Before the kids chicken was dried and well done, now it’s so fresh. Outside has many fun games to keep us entertained while waiting. This place will become a regular stop for us this summer. Keep up the great work, and thank you!

Good lunch. Chowder was acceptable. Better than before. All in all fair for the money. 13 bucks for fish sandwich, fries and chowder. Used to be 8 bucks, but I'm getting old... At least the interior is new and not fly ridden. 2$ drafts..

New owners have made all the difference!!!!! Will most definitely visit again, hot, fresh, great portion size, great tasting food. Clam strips, FF, clam fritters, crispy chicken wrap, french onion soup, then ice cream!!! Excellent taste with all, not greasy at all!!! Made new believers out of us. Vowed never to go back with OLD owners!!! 5 stars!!!
