    Great food! There were six of us so lots sharing going on and everything was delicious the catfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly BBQ was very good the ribs and brisket were great.

    This place was rad. My son and I randomly popped in while escaping a Blacksmith Festival (typical Fitchburg doings) and it was a great surprise. Staff was nicer than pie, and the wings, chili, and fish & chips were all great. We will definitely come back.

    Amazing food. Comfortable/friendly atmosphere. The owner and staff are awesome. A must for any barbecue lover!

    Food is great. Awesome atmosphere. Needs better wait staff. Been here twice and got the same slow forgetful waitress. But the cook makes up for it.

    Carolina pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries at The Local Spot/TJ's BBQ was amazzzing...the pulled pork sandwich is HUGE and has Cole slaw in it! The sweet potato fries are some of the best ... got a side of cornbread too which is delicious.
    I tried the pork ribs last night also...very good too.
    I can't wait to try: fried pickles, rice and beans, the collard greens, candied yams.... and chili. #soon
