Great BBQ in the Burg! Takeout that beats the restaurants. The portions are generous and the food is good. We got the cheese fries and they were loaded, could make a meal with just these. I got the Smothered Chicken, very tasty and great sauce. Had fried green tomato and they were crispy, didn’t care for the sauce but a little salt was all they needed. Jasmin rice was good, not too sticky. Chicken salad was huge, lots of fresh veggies, smoked chicken and cheese but needed a dressing.
We got a pile of food for the money, great value. The food was good and the price was right!
Try it, you will like it!
UPDATE Got the ribs and short ribs, both were very good. The short rib was huge chunk of meat! The Pig Fries are still great but would like a crisper fry.

We bought lunch there and brought it home, and it was so good! I was licking my fingers when I finished it! We will go back really soon! I't is great to have local small businesses!

Went here after my long day of work in the city. The chef had offered me a free sample of gumbo (with a lovely smile) he was trying out for the menu... and man I wish it had been. It was the best gumbo I’ve ever had. tender meat and great sauce.
I had ordered the classic skewers and a side order of fried green tomatoes. Tomatoes were golden and went perfectly with the sauce. Everything was superb- will be seeing you again Sloan! Thank you for making my dinner amazing.

FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER BABY BACK RIBS!!! Finally something other than pizza in Fitchburg. Great staff, great southern style BBQ, collard greens, and suya style skewers with sauteed veggies and sweet potato fries! AMAZING!

First time trying, and have not one complaint. Was ready on time and still hot by the time we got home. Food was all very good!! Very impressed.
