Mezcal Tequila Cantina

Have yet to visit this spot on a Friday or Saturday night. However found it one day driving trying to find where to have lunch and stopped there, happened to be on a Tuesday. Their taco Tuesday specials are definitely a steal, the chicken is a little too dry and their beef a little runny but the carnita is on point, all with good flavor, yes they are completely overstuffed and it gets messy but nothing napkins and washing your hands can't fix. Drinks are a little pricey, but if you know you're there to have more than 2 or 3 margaritas just go for the pitcher it will serve you around 5-6 which is pretty ok for their price, just order it a little stronger than usual. Salsa for their chips is pretty good, and if you're into hot sauces, their Ghost pepper sauce is a nice hit to the tacos. Overall great service employees have been always friendly.

We were so pleased with both our meal and drinks. Pleasant surprise. Service was poor, but the food quality made up for it.

Mezcal's food is consistently interesting and consistently good, and their cocktails are even better. I am not a big drinker, but when I'm in the mood to treat myself to an adult beverage, Mezcal never fails to satisfy. I love unusual flavors, so the smoked tequila is my favorite. Save room for the guacamole--they have so many great varieties to choose from!

I had a Groupon which made this whole experience worth it. I probably will not go back though. The food is not traditional Mexican. The prices were a little high. My only complaint about the food was that the rice was hard, which how can you be a Spanish restaurant with hard rice. We ordered a pitcher of blood orange margarita which was good. I definitely would recommend for anyone to go to form your own opinion about it.
