Oxfords Casual Dining

I go to this restaurant every Friday night with my fiance. We generally sit at the bar because we enjoy the socialization. The bartenders are wonderful and very friendly. The bar is the most diversely stocked bar I have ever seen and the drinks are creative and delicious.

The food is wonderful starting with a homemade bread with olive oil and spices. Their house salad is delicious and is a wonderful beginning to any meal. They have an array of appetizers and occasionally appetizer specials.
The menu is small but includes vegetarian salads, beef, pork, chicken, seafood, Italian, pastas, veal, essentially something for everyone.
The current specialty on the dessert menu is an icebox key lime pie that the owner's wife has made and it is the best key lime pie I have ever eaten. There is a reason why we go to this restaurant every Friday and we will continue to do so as long as the level of Excellence continues which so far has maintained its quality for the last 8 months that we have been going.
The added bonus for our Friday night dates is that they have live music.
Cannot say enough about the staff, drinks the food and the music. Anxiously look forward to my Friday nights every week!

Loved it. Baked scallops for hubby and eggplant Napoli for me. Both dishes were excellent. Great waitress who suggested the bread pudding for dessert and she was spot on. It was delicious. Love this place.

The hours of operation are not competitive. For this reason we usually end up at other restaurants with more flexible opening/ closing times. That being said the wait staff on our reason visit were wonderful. Food was reasonable.

On a recent Saturday evening when we were discussing somewhere to go we realized we hadn't been to this gem in a while. Walking in felt like coming to a friends home, the bar area is warm and inviting and the place was packed early on a Saturday night. We opted for a table in the bar area and were we glad we did. The young lady that waited on us was terrific, attentive, quick, and most of all accurate. I wish I could remember her name and give her a shout out. The salads to start were fresh, well dressed and delicious. Surf and turf were the winner with three medallions of beef topped with shrimp and scampi butter, mouth watering delicious and perfectly cooked. We opted for a side of mashed which were whipped, light and fluffy just like homemade. For dessert we tried the pistachio parfait with candied nut crumble and chocolate cake - both were very good, perfect end to a perfect meal. This place does a brisk business and we don't wonder why - everything was perfectly timed, delivered, cooked and served with a smile.
