Torito Mexican Restaurant

Not long ago I rated this place 5 stars, but my last few visits caused me to lower it - primarily due to service. Some of the employees provide great service, and others do not. With such random quality of service, I have to lower my rating. I like the food, so I will return and see how it goes.

Came in for dinner on a busy Friday night. Our server Vanessa was prompt and friendly, and checked on us frequently throughout the evening. Food took a while to come out (restaurant was about 60% full) but not a big issue. Pictured: spicy wings (definitely hotter than I expected!), lamb shank, and steak/shrimp/chicken skillet. With sides of beans, rice, guac, sour cream. Everything tasted good, and the portion sizes were huge. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed with people having a good time all around - that's what matters!

Had a wonderful dinner. Food was delicious and our waitress Arelie went above and beyond to make sure our gluten-free kids had a yummy Mexican meal. If it wasn’t for the charismatic, prompt, welcoming service, would give 3-4 stars due to food taking long. We will definitely be back soon when not so busy.

Run, do not walk, to Rt 9's newest Mexican restaurant, in the former Not Your Average Joe's location. Excellent food and service! Huge portions, high quality, friendly and helpful staff. We haven't eaten out in two years but just stopped there for lunch. Would it be too soon to go back for dinner?

First time here. Food was awesome even though they were super busy we managed to get a table right away. The customer service was AMAZING our waitress was Veronica best customer service I’ve had In a while! Will definitely be back!
