Let me start by saying the redecorating looks amazing. However I am not thrilled with the food changes. It seems that redecorating wasn't the only change they made. This used to be our go to spot for fish and chips as you would get a HUGE portion for a fair price. The price is the same but you get half or less than you used to. They stopped serving it with lemon wedges and only have these useless lemon wheels for drinks. They also changed their fries and I am not a fan.
Another change they made was you used to be able to get the steak tips over pasta, you can no longer do this. My mom ordered this on Mothers Day and was sad that she couldn't get pasta but got them anyway. They were overcooked, dry, and lacking in flavor. I got the Chicken Parm which was good but the pasta was absolutely DRENCHED in sauce. There was almost more sauce then pasta.
Their Chicken Alfredo needs a LOT more seasoning as well. It is very bland, so bland I ended up taking most of mine home so I could doctor it up at home and try and get some flavor.
This used to be our favorite spot for fish and chips but with the portion sizes being cut in half we will probably start to look elsewhere. Its a shame really.

Food was hot and delicious! Very thin batter on the seafood which was great. The onion rings were outstanding! Haddock chunks, shrimp and crab cakes were delicious! We will definitely be making this a stop for supper!

This is a decent place to go if you are looking for fried seafood. The seating area is small, so reservations are a good idea. I had the baked haddock which was nicely prepared. My son had fish and chips which was also well cooked and delivered a generous portion. My wife had shrimp scampi which was quite disappointing to her...not at all favorful. Also beware of whatever the spread is that is delivered with the bread. It tastes like Crisco mixed with cinnamon...not very delicious to us. Otherwise service was good and prices reasonable. Stick with the fried seafood and you should have a good experience.

All the wait staff we're hustling and very pleasant. They were right on top of things. We were there with a large group and we all had our order come hot and correct.

Consistently very good food. Very big portions. Good service. An ice cream shop is connected so you can have a cone on the go or stay in and enjoy other good desserts in the dining room. Cocktails are so-so, so I stick to the beer.
