Really good food and pretty authentic to what I grew up with. Took my parents who grew up in Portugal and they liked it too.
Everything is made to order so it may take longer but the great salads and dinners are well worth the wait. Make sure you talk to Carly who cooks all the meals. Not only does she make your meals but she'll also make your night! ????
Very good food. Carla is most welcoming and helps people understand what her food is like. Well worth the visit for casual Azorean food.
I live in the neighborhood and had a hankering to come in to try the food. I had never had Portuguese food before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were excellent, and there was plenty to eat. Very grateful to have a nice restaurant in the neighborhood.
What a great neighborhood restaurant. We are so fortunate to have some great ethnic restaurants in Worcester, and Azorean has joined those ranks. BYOB let's you pay for the food, not the liquor license. And you definitely are coming here for the food. It's unique (Portuguese) without being so strange. So kids (and other picky eaters) will still find plenty things on the menu of interest. We happened to stumble into their 1 year anniversary so that was a nice bonus. I'd suggest to the owner to add some sandwich options to the dinner menu for someone not looking for a full meal. A few more ethnic dessert options would really round out a nice menu.
