The food here is okay, it was be good to someone who actually likes Chinese food. We went there for the buffet, and it was a very small selection. The main menu was a little bit more expensive than a "typical" Chinese food restaurant.
Very nice, patient people and fast takeout. I ordered when I got there, and was out the door with my food in about 5-10 minutes. Food was great too. Good crab rangoon and chicken.
We requested to sit on the patio and were informed that we need to leave and ID or credit card because they have had people eat and run. I am a 28 year old young professional and personally was slightly offended. I have a never been asked to do such a thing at any other restaurant in Worcester or any other restaurant I've eaten at. I tend to wonder if the large family beside us or the young mother & her son had to follow along with the Same policy. However, that was the policy and I was willing to go along with it. I was informed that at the end of my meal I would get my license or card back right away. We eat the food and the was good. The service was attentive. But, I didn't realize until I got all the way out to Barre, Massachusetts that I was not re-issued my license. When calling back the establishment I got a "hello?" I was not informed that I was calling Nancy Chang's and really thought I was calling a cell phone. I had to ask "Is this Nancy Chang's and the girl said "yes". I explained that I'm calling about my ID that was left there and was not reissued to me, that I was not in the area anymore. She says "Yeah we have it." Having to drive 35 minutes from an event that I was at that I could not participate in, because I didn't have an ID was extremely frustrating. All I wanted was an apologetic tone or one sympathetic word. The reason that happened was, because of your policy not because I was forgetful. If you're going to have such a policy you should ensure that you get your customers back their property.
This place is great. Love the food. The quality of the food is excellent. I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a consistently good Chinese food
The parking lot is big. The buffet is very good. Decent selections to choose from. The lighting could have been better, since it was a little difficult to see the menu. Black text on orange paper is not the easiest to see.
