Love the staff, have been going for the better part of 15 years. Every sandwich is made to order and so fresh! Never a single disappointment!!!
Amazing sandwiches... if you can call what they do a mere sandwich. Oh wait, they call their specialty "the Regatta " and there is certainly a reason that they're proud enough to put their own name on a sandwich. But their creations also extend to other salads and warm foods. In fair weather, one can eat on one of a VERY FEW outside tables though most customers are happy with takeouts. Given the EXTREME lack of parking, getting in can be frustrating so more seating would not be tenable. It's a busy street, so be careful... no one slows down, the ever present danger of a fender bender looms large as you back out into the street.. it's just the way the diagonal parking is designed.
We have always loved getting a Regatta while living in Worcester. 7years ago we moved to PA and when we visit we like to get ont to eat on our way back. However, today when checking the hours it said it was open until 3:30, when we arrived at 3:10 the sign said closed. Please update your hours online.
Most everything is homemade. The sandwiches cant be beat for the price. The gouse Regatta is my go to. My company often buys lunch here. We call ahead for ordering. Desserts and pasta side dishes are delicious. Family owned and operated. Wish many years more of success for this awesome eatery!
Come here once or twice a month for the locally famous Regatta sandwich. Love how even on the busiest of days you're in and out within a few minutes if ordering a Regatta. It can take a while if you order something different and recommend calling ahead. Parking can be tough sometimes but there's nothing to be done about that.
