no one was there, food was ok, some staff was sick and should have not been working at resturant that day

Retro cool with a bar and good Middle Eastern food

Wonderful server. Attentive, polite, whole 9 yards. I've had better falafel for 1/3 the price and some worker behind the bar wouldn't stop swearing with their buddy who walked in. Bathroom reminded me of a truck stop. Are you a dive bar or a high class establishment? Make up your mind.

All of them came with or on rice pilaf, and it would have been good to have options about that aspect (perhaps a salad base) because at the end we had a lot of leftover rice. It was delicious but not exactly low calorie due to oil. The entrees we ordered for on top of the rice pilaf were one order of fish in tahini sauce - that was excellent but small in portion size; one order of lamb shish kebab which we ordered cooked medium to medium rare - that was overcooked but still tasty and large in portion size;
