(June 11, 2019, 9:37 am)JUST OUTSIDE THE TOWN OF GLENNIE, MI.----I REMEMBER THAT FOR MANY YEARS IT WAS TYPICAL FARMLAND. THEN IT WAS DEVELOPED INTO AN 18 HOLE GOLF COURSE ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO. THE 1ST TIME WE PLAYED IT ...WE REALIZED, AFTERWARD; ( ON THE WAY BACK TO THE CABIN )...THERE WERE NO SAND TRAPS ON THE ENTIRE COURSE. YET; IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST CHALLENGING COURSES THAT I HAVE EVER PLAYED. THERE ARE PLENTY OF WATER HAZARDS AND A NOTORIOUS BRIDGED RAVINE HAZARD. ITZ BEAUTIFUL ROLLING PASTURE LAND/FAIRWAYS AND, OF COURSE; WOODED AREAS.....IN ALL THE YEARS WE'VE PLAYED THERE...NEVER HAS THERE EVER BEEN A CROWD...NO WAITING FOR A TEE TIME. JUST SHOW UP AND GOLF...
