Big Boy

I love Big Boy, but tonight, mediocre at best. My niece had county fried steak, I had southern omelet. Clearly we could see the difference in the gravies. My niece had very old, cold gravy, mine was very fresh and hot. Our server informed us that hers was from the bottom of the pan..hence the burned taste. We ate, but weren't too happy.

The place was pretty good.. bathrooms were decently cleaned and the pancakes were good. Server was really nice!

Same great food every time. They were great with our big group last week. Thanks for doing great with the kids

A throwback in time,most Big Boy's no longer exists...but not only did I find one but two of these fabulous restaurant's! One in Battle Creek,Mi and the other in Wayland,Mi. Both times I loved the food, breakfast one visit and lunch the other day! Still great food with the awesome strawberry pie still on the menus. If you're interested in a place where time slows down from the hustle and bustle of everyday life,find the nearest Big Boys restaurant and stop by and let time and the food take you back to a simpler day!!

What a wonderful experience at this Big Boy! I've eaten at many Big Boy restaurants in my life in several different states. The food was average at best, decor outdated, and the cleanliness of restaurant and restrooms very poor.
What a breath of fresh air to find this one! First, it reflected pride in ownership. A huge plus in my book! We, 7, were met by the nicest greeter ever. In minutes, we were seated at a spacious table neatly set. Our waitress was a very efficient bundle of energy. We checked out the buffet and found it to be very clean and freshly stocked with mouth watering foods. All menu items arrived hot. We all were impressed with the food and service. Do not miss dining here!!
