Torch Lake Café

The food is GREAT! Everyone was super nice and place is extremely clean. Olive burger was fantastic and my daughter and her friend said make to say even the ketchup is really good! This our third time here and it keeps getting better.

Great place in a somewhat isolated location near Eastport - a great asset to the area. I ate there at least 3 times in a week and they didn't always 100% hit the mark but the menu, interior and staff all truly make a great effort to be something special. The locally smoked fish spread is fantastic but the seafood platter might have been in the fridge for at least a day or two... otherwise the menu and other items I got were creative and tasty and they make LEGIT coffee/espresso/etc with in-house roasted beans... The menu could be far less creative and they'd still make a buck in this area but it's a step above that and I applaud it 100%. I 'll DEFINITELY be back in next time I'm around the area.

We were in Torch Lake from downstate and had dinner at a Torch Lake Cafe. It was absolutely awesome. Before going I read some not so good reviews but we chose to find out for ourselves. An incredible dinner and drinks. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and engaging in conversation with the bar tenders who were great. Service was excellent and food incredible. Still don’t understand the bad reviews. We definitely would go back.

We went to Torch Lake Cafe tonight for dinner and we were very pleasantly surprised! We have been there many times in the past few years and have always enjoyed it, but after reading all the negative comments about the new menu we were skeptical. We totally enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was creative and delicious and the service was exceptional. The idea of healthy, fresh, local food is a great addition to our area. We definitely will return as there are many more menu items we can choose from.
