I went there with my son during the week at 12 30. A threesome was waiting for the hostess in front of us. No one had come to seat them so we waited about 10 minutes for someone to seat them and us. When we finally were seated we waited another 7 minutes and finally a girl came said she was a trainee but she would bring us drinks. She did not talk to the threesome. Ater she brought our water and left the guy from the threesome got up and asked her to take their order. Our waitress still had not appeared. There were about 6 staff present and 8 tables. Not that busy. They had no bacon and no chicken so they left. We finally asked the bartender to take our food order as we still had not seen a waitress in the 20 minutes we were there. My son asked to see the manager to let him know there was a service problem. The manager said he just got there and was attending to a delivery. He did not offer anything to make things right. We left at that point. I will never go back.. poor service.

I am an avid lunch participant as well as an Executive business woman in the area. I frequently bring clients here for lunch. When planning a private party of 50 guests, I inquired about a special price to help off set the cost of this size party and was shocked that the manager would not reduce the price by $1.00 per person for the Sunday brunch.
I explained that I am their a few times a week with clients and was given a budget for this party. My preference was to entertain at Riverfront Cafe. He very abruptly stated NO and to look at other venues. It was for a Baby shower for Gods sake. The coldness and inflexibility of this manager has cost him my business and the business of my clients. This was a bad business decision and terrible customer appreciation.

I had the best fish tacos outside of Seattle! Great selections of beers. Staff could be more customer oriented and relaxed. The hummus plate appetizer rivals Corndance. My husband had a BLT on steroids and it was delish! We will definitely go back!

We moved to Berrien County about a month ago and we have been trying the restaurants in St Joseph. We decided to change things up a bit and went to Niles and the Riverfront Cafe. The food was fantastic!!! I had the herb roasted pork medallions and my husband had the sauteed portabello chicken. Both were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back for the brunch.
