Seriously a hidden gem. This place is a whole bunch of awesome wrapped up in an unassuming building on the outskirts of Bronson. What an amazing stake house. Prices are fantastic for the quality of food they serve. I have been to other steak houses in bigger cities that just seem like a rip-off after eating here. I make it a point to stop in for a Bourbon glazed New York Strip whenever I am visiting the area. I would recommend this place so anyone. Steak so tender you can cut it with a spoon, seriously I could drink that Bourbon glaze. Simply spectacular.
Visit several times per year and never a bad experience. I recommend the 20 oz. rib eye steak and sirloin tips. Sides are good but not as great as the beef which is understandable in a country roadhouse. Prices are very good considering the quantity and quality of food. Try to avoid real busy times to enhance your dining...
We arrived with a party of 26 and were seated right away...due to a reservation of course. Waitresses were fantastic, got our drinks right away and proceeded to make our dinner experience outstanding. Our meals were hot and the food was very good. It appeared the lady in charge was honestly grateful for us coming in. We shall return!
Our waitress was very nice and attentive. And if you want a great steak and aren't afraid to pay top dollar, then go. However I can't give 5 stars for a few reasons. They serve the dinner rolls with a sweet cinnamon flavored butter that neither my wife or I care for and we had to ask for for regular butter. Perhaps it would be better if we were given a choice beforehand. Some of their salad dressings are homemade. If you like blue cheese forget it. Take your own or order something different. My loaded baked potato was "loaded" with a scant amount of bacon and liquid cheese from a can instead of real shredded co-jack melted cheese. They need to go to the Howe Restaurant for a lesson in how to make a real loaded baked potato. I ordered my steak medium and it was served to me rare. No offer to reduce my bill to compensate me for my extra wait time. I have been to Bill's on a few occasions in the past. I can't afford to go there often. It seems that the price/value relationship gap has widened through the years as they have obviously cut corners. They haven't however cut any prices.
Great meal. Wait was not very long, maybe 5 minutes around 5pm on a Saturday. It's definitely out in the middle of the country, but still semi-upscale and definitely very clean. Hostess was friendly and prices are comparable to Texas Roadhouse. Mashed potatoes were especially good as they throw beef chunks in the potatoes and gravy. Great experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
