Clara's on the River

The atmosphere inside is unique. The out door patio with live music is great! They have more food options than you could hope for in one place with very average prices and large portions. Sometimes the wait could be a bit long but overall this is a place to go back to. I would say that the only negative is the rubs are nothing special, bony and fatty. Try the bruschetta, yum. Good mushroom gravy.

I had an absolute wonderful time! Went there for my wedding reception and the owners were super friendly and made conversation with everyone at our table even my son who's only 5 months old. That waiter didnt seem like he was having a good day until we started messing around with him and he brightened right up. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a family oriented place

Good place to eat in Battle Creek. Really nice outdoor area. Food wasn't anything amazing but all was well prepared and the staff was attentive and courteous. Kinda surprised on a sunny, pleasantly warm day the entire garden wasn't filled with people. Biggest fail was not knowing 1. What a Bellini even is and 2. Attempting to make it (poorly) based on my description. Just let me show you next time!

Food is really enjoyable. Very relaxing atmosphere. Right next to a river with great patio views. Clean and friendly establishment. Historical building in Battle Creek!

Would be 5 stars but the go at today was kind of terrible. He made us wait for him to finish whatever he was doing before seating us and came off like he didn't even want to be there. He wasn't exactly ride but it was off putting. Our server was diligent even though she was just finishing our with a large party. Good team work also from fellow servers checking on us etc. Food was fantastic. We will be back+
