Excellent food and service as always. My and his family joined us for their first visit and we're extremely happy with their food and service as well. Our only issue was that it was extremely warm in the restaurant which is very unusual. I will add to their defense that it was very hot outside which may have caused the air-conditioning to be overworked. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant.Keep up the good work Lux Cafe!

Very good breakfast! Everything was very fresh and and came out piping hot. Excellent, friendly service! Extensive menu with all the breakfast usuals + top shelf specialty items like eggs Benedict, cinnamon french toast, chunky monkey french toast, skillets and more.

Often busy so prepare for a wait, but it's busy for a reason. Once you get a table, service is quick. Portions are massive and there's lots of great options. They are also the best breakfast spot in town for accommodating large groups.

Very busy at 1030 am, Sunday morning (that's a good sign). 12 min. wait isn't bad though and worth it. Good Eggs Benedict and enjoyed a "sizzler" Español. Food came out fast and regular coffee checks, all at reasonable prices.
It goes on the "returning" list.

I can't believe I'm complaining about this, but except for children's and senior citizens' menu options (which are quite limited), the portions are just gluttonously overlarge. So unless you are a farmhand, dockworker, or just ran at least a 10K, be advised you will likely only enjoy half the food they bring you. The rest of it you will either have to let them throw away or like everyone else leaving the place, you'll be carrying a white plastic box. Service is always good, food is good. Not great, but good.
