Pennfield Ice Cream & Coffee Shop

At first glance you get the feeling that the building might be dated and stuffy, however after stepping inside its a pleasant surprise. The interior is spacious and comfortable, my only complaint would be the portioning. My husband and I both ordered a waffle cone with a single scoop, in previous experiences with different ice cream shops they place one small scoop to fill the middle of the cone then another on top and wah-lah a single scoop cone. They however literally give you a single scoop leaving you with a completely empty cone. Other then that it was a lovely Sunday date with my hubby.

What a delightful surprise! I didn't even know there was a new ice cream shop here! The staff is friendly, fun, and have great selection suggestions for the undecided.. my selection today was Moosetraxx in a waffle cone! Please forgive my lack of a visual.. I was so excited that even being the foodie I am.. neglected my photo OP and set about smashing the delectable delight post haste! ???? Oh well.. next time gang, I promise ;)

I LOVE that their tree-nut ice creams are in a separate case for people with allergies! Way less contamination possibilities! Also, all of their allergies are listed below each ice cream! We will definitely be back! The ice cream was delicious and there were so many choices!! And, the customer service was great-used a fresh scoop for ice cream for our person with allergies and were very patient as we couldn't make up our mind what flavor we wanted!

Very nice addition to the Pennfield area. We have needed an ice cream shop for a very long time. I wish they were open earlier during the week so I could stop for coffee on my way into the office. 7:30 am would be great. Nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee and a muffin to get your morning started.

We love to support local business. We we're glad to have an ice cream business on this side of town. That being said the portion size does not match the prices. Beautiful place friendly staff.
