Amazing people, we really enjoyed conversating with the server and one of the owners. Family owned and operated. I really hope they make it. Easily the best ethnic food in battle creek. Tea leaf salad was incredible & coconut noodle was outstanding. We enjoyed it all!!
We were blown away. This place is a gem, I can’t believe it is in Battle Creek. We got the tea leaf salad, samosa, fried sweet corn, fried beef noodles, fish chowder, milk tea, bubble tea, and rice cakes. We had to be rolled out of the restaurant. The server was incredible. The place is super clean. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Bravo!
The staff here is super friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I think it is the best food in the area. I also love that they have bubble tea. I will definitely be back often
Great food; mix of Burmese, Indian, Chinese and Thai, influence. Awesome prices and staff. Owner came over to our table to explain the origins of the cuisine and shared that they use fresh ingredients daily. A great addition to Battle Creek.
Stumbled on Shwe through Yelp. Amazed that Battle Creek has Burmese cuisine. Family owned. Burmese wife is the Chef. Quality, cooked to order dishes. Very inexpensive. I was afraid the dish would be too spicy, but they serve mild w/spice on the side, unless requested otherwise.
Clean tables and rest rooms. Must do a bigger lunch business since it only serves dinner only until 8.
A little out if the way, but a great place to stop on the Detroit to Chicago (94) highway. Exit #98B, just 1.5 miles from the cheapest gas en route, Circle K. It'll be my new favorite on my frequent Chicago/Detroit trips.
