This review is for Winston’s pub.

Writing a review is a pain in the toto. I avoid it as much as possible. But this place deserves it.

There is a reason why this place is still #1:

    - The bar section is nice a quiet.
    - Their alcohol selections are thoughtful. There are 2 non-alcoholic beers. There is a local Michigan vodka, etc.
    - I asked the server about a strange looking bottle and she got me a sample. How sweet.
    - The food options are incredible.

This place is something else. You must come visit.

Great atmosphere, friendly, warm, and helpful staff. Had mama's tea to drink - DELICIOUS! And the roasted onion and mushroom flatbread which was really good. Would definitely recommend this place!

Renowned restaurant where almost at least one person in anyone's family in this State has heard of Schuler's. Not a fan of the dark wood, gloomy dining room with poor yellow lighting that will have any camera phone scream, but the food is top notch and service professional. Just go in winter rather than a sunny summer day. Can't go wrong with the Traverse Bay Salad with chicken added.

TIP: BBQ Meatball appetizer in a pewter cup

Schueler's is a great restaurant, with two sides to the place. This is about the more casual bar side. Good variety of delicious food at reasonable $$ prices. Great place to take Albion students. If you have a gluten allergy, there are a few decent options that are gluten friendly. Only issue is that their signature cheese spread isn't available year round.

We stopped there on a recommendation from our hotel on our way to Niagara Falls. We went in the pub first to get a drink. We ended up eating right at the bar. Our Texan bartender recommended the brisket sandwich. My husband loved it. But I would say to anyone, order the prime rib sandwich with the fried Brussels sprouts! Thee best! Those Brussels sprouts are worth driving for. The bartender mixed delicious drinks! Mint julep was fabulous. In the area, stop, you will not be disappointed. Not the cheapest, but worth it.
