Mr. Wahoo's Eatery

I love this place my wife especially loves the Gyros we went there for mother's day. It was packed as usual I have had French dip and open face roast beef sandwich and you can't go wrong with their breakfast menu It's served all day long. They keep your glass full of water or pop or your cup of coffee never runs dry. Some times you have to wait if you order fried chicken usually 10 to 15 minutes but it is usually fresh as most of their food is.

Pros: huge portions, excellent service, good prices, and clean. The menu is huge, so you have a wide selection of dishes. I could tell that they really do try to get it right, and I'm sure there is some great food in there, somewhere.

Cons: the menu is huge, so I got the impression that they're a "Jack of all trades, but a Master of none". The "Strawberry Blitz" crepes were covered in tart berries and sweet whipped cream, but filled with no less than a half-inch of bland ricotta/cottage cheese paste that overpowered everything else. :(

Also, you have to go to the cash register to pay, which is located at the entrance where people are coming in, and if more than 1 person is paying, the line immediately extends into the dining area. Awkward.

That said: our drinks were never empty, our server was great, and it didn't break the bank. Overall an OK experience.

Very Friendly place and service was excellent. Portions were large even with children's dishes. American fries were good as were the mushrooms. Veggies were fresh. Wouldn't mind trying a salad there. Shrimp is small like popcorn shrimp. Bean soup was thin, hamburger wasn't fully done.
Restrooms are gross and extremely cold. Sprite was so nasty couldn't drink. Even 5 yr old granddaughter thought my drink was "disgusting" as she stated when she sneaked a drink. Ice tea wasn't bad. I understand it's a small town diner however the cleanliness leaves alot to be desired. Place was packed though .the owner was a sweetheart. Treated granddaughter extra special. She loved it!

If you want cheap food and lots of it, this is your place. You will not get superb food, but for the price, quantity and service you really can't beat it. The fried chicken as awesome, burgers are big and good. Menu is huge, something for everyone. Quick stop for quick food.
