Fat Cam's at Garver Lake

My family brought me here after church one Sunday for my birthday last year. This establishment serves Cajun cuisine, and I must say, it is delicious. The gumbo is fantastic! I am looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend!

We did not have reservations. We were fitted in. Service was great. Daughter from East coast impressed with quality of food and price.

Delicious comfort food from burgers with bacon, to chicken and waffles, to Callum gumbo!! The owner was out serving and chatting with customers. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family. What a hidden gem!!

Update: just went a second time and got the crabbed stuffed Florida grouper and a key lime martini. The martini is delicious! The grouper was ok, but the edges were so burned that neither myself nor my husband could eat it. When I told my waitress about it, she did apologize but had to turn to the table next to us immediately after because she had their food on her shoulder. I don't mind that she turned away, they want their food too. I was disappointed that she didn't ask again about it or offer someway to make our experience better.

Excellent, very good food with great service. There are relaxed summer vacation vibes, but it can get so busy that you will want reservations a couple of days ahead of time. BTW, the draft beer list is strong and the right Leng.

This place was an excellent reminder of our Louisiana life we left behind. Food is very close to something from the south. My favorite was the fried green tomatoes. Our waitress was really fun, had knowledge of menu and made our night and first time memorable. We will definitely be going back.
