Pleasantly surprised on a late Labor Day decision to try The Foundry for dinner. We enjoyed prompt service, very good food and reasonable pricing. Ambience still needs work. It’s a bit loud and has an “industrial” feel that hasn’t changed since the prior ownership.
Stopped in for a drink and some appetizers. Great new place for East Jordan. Great atmosphere and food selection for all sorts of eaters. Really looking forward to what they can do with some more time in the area.
Four couples went to the Foundry tonight. We all enjoyed our dinners. Everyone working there was pleasant. Service was good despite the restaurant being packed. Our dinners were ribs, perch, salads, a steak melt sandwich (excellent). The pizzas looked great. We are going back.
This place is absolutely crushing it right out of the gate. Have been there four times since they opened their doors and we've been making our way through the entire menu. Wings, burgers, steak sandwich, chicken, ribs and pizza all on point. It takes a lot to pull us away from the landings (which we also love!), and they're accomplishing that. It's great to have something here in town that we love again!
Three of us had dinner tonight. The Freedom Festival is going on this weekend, so the restaurant was really full. We sat on the deck. Our meals were wonderful! What a nice menu. A real improvement over the former Blue Smoke menu. This is East Jordan, not Chicago!
We had a VERY nice server. I think his name was Sam Drenth. Very personable young man! An asset to your restaurant.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!!
