505 Cafe

I would give this place 3.5 stars.
I pulled off of the freeway to look for a place to get some breakfast.
Upon entering, I noticed right away how clean and updated this place looked.
I liked the fact that the tables were spaced out real good, allowing for lots of room.
It was seat yourself and the waitress came over right away with a menu.
I ordered two eggs over medium with potatoes, bacon, and toast.
Also a cup of regular coffee and a glass of water.
She brought my coffee right away but there wasn't any cream at the table.
When I asked her for some, she pointed to area and said to just go up there and get it (I just thought that was kind of odd).
The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, the eggs were cooked to perfection, the potatoes were good but not great, the bacon was real thin, wasn't real impressed with that, got four pieces of really awesome toast that was already buttered, but after she left I noticed that there wasn't any jelly on the table, and I caught the waitress on my way to get my 2nd cup of coffee, I asked her for some jelly, she seemed very surprised that I asked for that but said that she would get my some. She brought some jelly right away, but I was surprised that she scooped some into a small stainless steel cup. Just thought if that was the case, she might have asked what flavor I wanted. I like lots of different flavors and the jelly was really good, not a big deal, but just seemed odd.
Oh by the way, the coffee was excellent!
I will probably take the wife here for lunch and dinner to see how that is.
Looks like they have a good selection of beverages, but it was too early in the morning for that.

This is definitely my favorite place to eat since moving to Isabella County 3 years ago. It reminds me of the quaint Cafe's I was a custom to, coming from NW Michigan. The food is wonderful, atmosphere charming and staff is very friendly. My personal favorites are the Heart of Michigan Flat Bread Pizza and their Chocolate Chip Frappe' with Whipped Cream! Definitely worth the stop. Check it out!????

We stopped here on the way up north and got a late breakfast. It's a quiet place with very good service. The burrito was excellent with gravy, and the scramble is also very good. Don't miss the Amish cinnamon roll!

Stopped here when passing through. Five of us had excellent breakfasts. The skillets were good and the breakfast burrito was huge. Small, quaint fun place.

Beautiful, beautiful place! The service was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasant! Definitely will go again, Lord willing!
